Manipur High court has issued a notification regarding the procedure of E-filing and hearing of urgent cases via Video conferencing through Vidyo app.
The following procedure shall be followed by High Court as well as District courts in the state for E-filing:
- The counsel shall submit the briefs of the case stating the nature of urgency of case to Registry through email to hcmefiling@qmail.com.
- In matters of State and Union Governments, an urgent application shall be emailed to pphighcourtga@gmail.com and sureshsarangthem@vahoo.com respectively.
- Only one request in an email is allowed. The permission to the concerned party or the counsel party shall be reverted back through the same email.
- In case the permission is granted, the counsel or the concerned party can email the copy of Petition/ Application/Appeal etc. to hcmefting@gmail.com
- Only important annexures are to be complied to 10-15 pages to reduce the volume.
- The counsel party has a mandatory obligation to give an undertaking in person for the payment of court fees and other requisite charges.
Video Conferencing procedure
- The concerned party will be informed about the dates of hearing via email and phone.
- The hearing will be conducted via Vidyo app or URL/ link will be shared to the parties through mail on the scheduled date.
- The order will be uploaded on High court portal and will be communicated to the concerned parties /counsel parties via mail.
- The matters concerning bail orders will be communicated to Judges/ Magistrate and Superintendent of Jails via e mail or WhatsApp
- Court manners and Formal attires have to be ensured every time.
