COVID-19 Lockdown 4.0 extended till May 31, Restrictions Eased

The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has announced the fourth phase of the COVID-19 lockdown, which will be in effect till May 31.

In this nationwide Lockdown 4.0 several activities have been prohibited which are as follows:

The above given activities continue to remain prohibited, with some relaxations announced, including that on inter-state movement of passenger vehicles and buses. The same has been allowed in non-containment zones, with mutual consent of the states involved.

All other activities which are not expressly prohibited will be permitted. In containment zones, only essential activities will be permitted, with strict restrictions on movement of person in and out of these zones.

The orders once again calls for the installation of the Aarogya Setu app. Employers are required to ensure that everyone in the workplace installs the app.
