National Law University Shimla to promote students based on average marks from previous years and internal assessment; scraps traditional exams [Read Official Notification]

The National Law University shimla has decided to promote students on the basis of average marks from previous years and internal assessment.

In accordance to UGC guidelines, the university has decided the following rules with respect to promotion of students and examinations for BA/ B.B.A  L.L.B  courses.

  1. The scheme shall be based on a combination of average percentage secured in previous semester and marks secured in the Internal Assesment by the Students in the current semester.
  2. In the same regard, 50% of weightage shall be assigned on average marks secured in previous semester and the remaining 50% marks shall be assigned on the basis of marks secured by students in projects/ assignment and viva voice.

More details on the aforementioned scheme shall be notified by the National law University shimla in due course

The instant notification is subject to any other notification/circular/guideline issued by the UGC, BCI or Central Government.
