Jack Ma, Alibaba and UC Browser in a damages suit for promoting Anti India and Pro Chinese Content

A Gurugram Court has summoned Chinese Billionaire Jack Ma, Ali Baba and UC Web Mobile Private Limited in a wrongful termnation suit. Pushpandra Singh Parmar was the Associate Director at UC Web Mobile, which owns UC Web Browser. He was the head of Content Censorship. He was allegedly terminated when he objected to some pro-China and anti-India content being promoted by UC Web Browser.

Pushpandra had also written to NIA and PMO complaining about the pro-China practices of UC browser Web.

The matter was heard by Judge Sonia Sheokand and on the next hearing may be heard by Judge Anil Kaushik, he said.

UC Browser and Pushpandra Singh Parmar had previously settled a High Court matter after Pushpandra had given an undertaking not to disrupt events of UC Browser.
