Tamil Nadu Govt sanctions Rs 3,000 monthly stipend for young lawyers for 2 years

Delhi Bar Council Temporarily Suspends Advocate’s License
As per a press release issued by the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry , The Tamil Nadu Government has decided to pay a monthly stipend of Rs 3,000 for young lawyers in the State for a two-year period.

Minimum 2,000 young advocates will be benefited every year in this Scheme”, the press release issued by the Bar Council noted.

“The timely help to the young Advocates will go to long way in ensuring that the standards of Advocates stays high and as a directive result, Tamilnadu will be able to produce great Advocates and eminent jurists in future.”

A plea seeking monetary aid or monthly stipend to help lawyers and advocates’ clerks in need to tide over the COVID-19 crisis is scheduled to come up before the Madras High Court next on July 22.
