The CM of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal today announced that the Delhi Government will provide free COVID 19 vaccination to all above 18 years of age in the coming days. He also stated that the Delhi Government has approved the purchase of 1.34 crore doses today morning.

The Delhi CM while highlighting the shortage of oxygen beds assured the public that the government is working on increasing the number of oxygen beds on a larger scale in national capital.

The CM noted that vaccines have emerged as a solution to the pandemic, and that experts believed that England succeeded in thwarting the wave and intensity of infections through large-scale vaccination. If everyone is given the vaccine, then COVID 19 will be become an ordinary disease.
The Delhi Government in view of the rising covid 19 cases has also extended its lockdown till 3rd May to prevent the spread of the virus.
