About OutLawed
OutLawed is an organisation that seeks to Support the engagement of citizens with law and policy, with a specific emphasis on educating school students on various facets of Indian law. The organisation also has several other initiatives to facilitate legal education for the common man.
OutLawed has also initiated an online series-Out Loud, to facilitate discussion on various topics and talks by legal luminaries on contemporary topics in order to create more legal and social awareness among the general public. It is free and open for all. The discussion happens on Zoom.
About the Session
The latest Out Loud talk on the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019. The session will include a discussion on the implications for privacy, and government intervention. The session will also have a round of questions and answers at the end. It promises to be a very interactive and interesting talk. This talk is in collaboration with the Center for Internet and Society. The Centre for Internet and Society (CIS) is a non-profit organisation that undertakes interdisciplinary research on the internet and digital technologies from policy and academic perspectives.
