About the Indian Journal of Arbitration Law

The Indian Journal of Arbitration Law (IJAL) is the flagship biannual journal of the Centre for Advanced Research and Training in Arbitration Law, published under the aegis of National Law University, Jodhpur.

The Indian Journal of Arbitration Law (‘IJAL’) regularly publishes contributions from experienced practitioners whilst giving due importance to theoretical work of academicians at the same time.

IJAL is pleased to announce its upcoming issue, Issue 2 of Volume 9, which is to be published in January 2021. The deadline for submission of manuscripts for the forthcoming issue is September 30, 2020.

However, IJAL accepts manuscripts year-round and any manuscript submitted after the aforesaid deadline will be considered for publication in the next issue i.e. Issue 2 of Volume 9.

Mode of Submission| Indian Journal of Arbitration Law

The manuscripts for Vol. 9, Issue 2 (that will be published tentatively in January 2021) may be submitted via email to editors[at]ijal.in latest by September 30, 2020.

The manuscripts will be reviewed by the Board of Editors over the course of twelve (12) weeks after the submission deadline for Volume 9, Issue 2 has elapsed.

IJAL accepts manuscripts year-round, on a rolling basis, and any manuscript submitted after the aforesaid deadline will be considered for the subsequent issue i.e. Volume 10, Issue 1.

Contribution Guidelines| Indian Journal of Arbitration Law

Each issue contains:

  • Articles, which analyse topics of permanent interest from major national jurisdictions as well as contemporary international issues
  • Notes, which cover topical recent developments and on-going debates in the field.
  • Book reviews.

Authors are requested to adhere to our Contribution Guidelines, available here.

Authors are requested to provide a declaration stating that the manuscript is original, unpublished, and it is not submitted for consideration to any other law journal.
