Linklaters signs MOU with IDIA Charitable Trust to support IDIA’s Training and Materials Vertical

Linklaters, one of the leading law firms in the world, has come forward to support IDIA Charitable Trust (IDIA) and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with IDIA.

Linklaters will be supporting Training and Materials vertical (T&M) of IDIA for a period of three years.

The T&M of IDIA support State teams by providing quality training and materials for IDIA Trainees who are preparing to crack law entrance examinations. It also analyses the performance of the IDIA Trainees and provides them with training materials that are tailored to their needs.

Speaking on the issue, Sushil Jacob, Partner, Linklaters commented,

The release in this regard further informs that Linklaters would also be providing other avenues of support such as internships and job opportunities for IDIA Scholars.

The release states,

“The team is undergoing rapid expansion especially through using online tools for training. A number of student volunteers from law colleges across India are part of the team. With the help of Linklaters, it would be able to explore new avenues that are crucial for success of IDIA.”

IDIA is a pan-India movement to train and help transform underprivileged students into leading lawyers and community advocates.
