The Central Government has recently notified the appointment of Advocate Savitri Ratho as Judge of the Orissa High Court.
This is in pursuanceof the recommendation made by the Supreme Court Colelgium in January this year.
The Orissa HC Collegium had recommended elevation of Ratho in May last year. However, the SC Collegium had postponed the same vide its resolution passed in October.
