On 14th July, 2020, the first E-Lok Adalat through Video Conferencing was conducted by the High Court Legal Services Committee, Bengaluru.
Justice AlokAradhe, the Chairman, High Court Legal Services Committee and Vijay Kumar Patil, the Conciliator was the part of the bench where 31 cases pertaining to two Insurance Companies were settled. A compensation of a sum of Rs 62, 95,000 to the Victims of Motor Vehicle Accident was awarded.

In the guidance of Chief Justice Abhay S. Oka who is the Patron-in-Chief, Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, Justice Aravind Kumar, Executive Chairman, Karnataka State Legal Services Authority and Justice AlokAradhe, Chairman, High Court Legal Services Committee, the first virtual LokAdalat was conducted.
The first ever ‘e-LokAdalat’ was held in Chhattisgarh on July 11 settling about 2270 cases.
