Qualifying Exam For Indian Nationals Holding Foreign Law Degrees By October First Week: BCI Anticipates

BCI Guidelines On Intermediate Year Exams
Bar Council of India BCI  has informed that it hopes to conduct 16th Qualifying Exam For Indian Nationals holding foreign degrees by first week of October 2020.

The 16th Qualifying Examination for the Indian Nationals holding Foreign Law Degrees was originally scheduled from 25th May, 2020 to 30th May, 2020.

Admit cards will be emailed only after confirmation of the center by NLU’s and STBC, as the case may be according to options chosen, it added.

The notification read,

“We hope to conduct the Exam by 1st week of October, 2020, subject to the convenience of the NLU’s and STBC’s. However, in case they are unable to agree upon any date in the first week of October, 2020 i.e. either on 3rd or 4th of October, 2020, the next earliest feasible date, preferably in the next week of October, 2020 shall be duly intimated

It added that a batch of 22 or more candidates have already been sent emails about the finalisation of their candidature to appear in the said exam.

The BCI said that the final list of all candidates will be out latest by 20th September, 2020, if not earlier.
