The Bar Council Of Kerala made history while it conducted a virtual enrollment ceremony on Saturday. 785 Law Graduates, wore the lawyer’s robes and enrolled as Advocates yesterday in a ceremony held through video conferencing.
The video conferencing was done through Cisco Webex Platform. The ceremony which started at 9am in the morning was completed at about 6pm in the evening.
The candidates were divided into several groups and batches and were allotted with a specific time slot for oath taking. The candidates were required to take a print out of the virtual enrollment oath to read it out during the ceremony.
“Trial Runs” were also conducted before the final enrollment to check the technical feasibility of the process of enrollment and explain online enrollment procedures .
