About the RMLNLU
RMLNLU (Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University), formerly Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law Institute, is an institute for law in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Dr, RMLNLU was established in the year 2005, and since then, has been providing undergraduate and post-graduate legal education.
The RMLNLU Society for Excellence in Arbitration Law (SEAL) was established in the year 2015. It is a student-run academic body set up with a view to having insightful discussions on various contemporary developments taking place in the field of Arbitration Law within and outside the country.
About the Webinar
The Society for excellence in Arbitration law, RMLNLU is organizing a National Webinar on Contemporary Issues in Arbitration Law: Anti-Arbitration Injunctions.
This webinar will seek to accommodate both internal and external participants to make this platform available to students all across the country, through an integrated discussion on the Indian and International trends on the grant of such Injunctions It would also ensure that students get the opportunity to put forth their questions and discuss them with the panel.

About the Speakers
The esteemed panel consists of the following speakers:
Mr. Surjendu Sankar Das: He is one of the leading arbitration lawyers of India having a strong International and Domestic exposure. He has an experience of 12 years in handling several international and domestic arbitrations in relation to shareholders’ disputes, power projects, infrastructure, telecom and other contractual disputes. He is a qualified Advocate on Record in the Supreme Court of India.
Lomesh Kiran Nidumuri: He is an experienced litigator with over a decade and half of experience in handling civil and commercial disputes, domestic and international arbitrations (ad-hoc and institutional). He has completed his L.L.M in dispute resolution from New York School of Law and is currently a Partner at Indus Law. He has also worked at the office of standing counsel for the Government of India at New Delhi, representing the Government of India on a wide range of disputes.
The session will be moderated by Mr. Abhishek Dwivedi (Independent advocate and arbitration counsel).
The chief patron for the session will be Prof. Subir K. Bhatnagar (Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, RMLNLU, Lucknow), and Dr. Prasenjit Kundu (Assistant professor of Law, RMLNLU, Lucknow) will be presiding over as Programme Co-ordinator.
