C-HELP fosters law and policy research on health by law students, and encourages applications for internship.
About the Organisation
The Centre for Health Equity, Law and Policy (C-HELP) is an initiative of the Indian Law Society, Pune. It aims to advance and improve health delivery, access and outcomes through the creation, sharing and use of knowledge on health-related law and policy as informed by India’s constitutional framework, and her international commitments including the Sustainable Development Goals.
About the Internship
Interns will be expected to assist with research for and development of knowledge products on matters related to health, law and policy. The current public health crisis in India has resulted in many policy and legal developments, and interns can expect to work on these emerging issues, along with other issues of importance. They will have the opportunity to learn about the policy and legal frameworks governing health in India.
Details
- Internships last for a duration of 4 to 8 weeks
- Applicants should be 4th or 5th year law students
- Applications should be made at least 2 months prior to the proposed starting date
