ABOUT THE CHARTER
The Charter is an initiative by upcoming lawyers from various National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. It is created to kindle a desire in our audience of young law students to contribute to the legal profession through our journals & law digests, where they can share research with the fraternity. The Charter aims toward the holistic development of the students and budding practitioners who can bring revolutionizing transformation in the noble profession of advocacy and policy in lawmaking.
ABOUT THE ONLINE WORKSHOP
The workshop will focus on how to ace in legal research skills for litigation, moot memorials, research papers, etc. The discussion will try to solve the queries of the students and legal practitioners regarding legal research and drafting.
PANELISTS:
Dr. Malika Gautam & Mr. Vishavjeet Chaudhary
Dr. Malika Gautam practicing Advocate in the Supreme Court of India and Counsel at International Court of Justice, The Hague. An Academician dealing with various topics of law, visiting Assistant Professor in Manav Rachna International University and K.R. Mangalam University, Delhi, NCR. She has conducted different kinds of cases before the Trial Courts, High Courts (Delhi and Outstation) and Supreme Court of India. She is the head of Women’s Cell of YUVA, an NGO which works for the furtherance of women’s rights and education of underprivileged children.
Mr. Vishavjeet is a Delhi based Advocate. He is a qualified Barrister and is a door Tenant at a London based set. His areas of expertise include Constitutional law, Criminal Law, and Human Rights. Other than law, he takes a keen interest in traveling and equestrian sports.
