About the Internship
The Criminal Justice and Police Accountability Project (CPA Project), is looking for law interns for remote Opportunity of four to eight weeks from November 2020 to January 2021. The work will primarily involve researching the disproportionate impact of criminal laws on marginalised communities and assisting with litigation work, including writ petitions before the High Court. We might consider applications for in person internships for those residing in Bhopal.
Who can apply?
Preference will be given to students in their penultimate or final year of law school, and those adept at working with data.
We encourage women, queer and gender non-conforming individuals, persons from Adivasi, Dalit, ex-criminalised/ DNT/ nomadic, other Bahujan and religious minority communities, persons with disabilities and others from LGBTQIA+ communities to apply.
Stipend
Rs 8,000 per month.
Duration of Internship
6 – 8 weeks from November 2020 to January 2021. (20 – 25 hours of work every week.)
