ABOUT ANSAL UNIVERSITY

Ansal University was established in 2012 in Gurugram. The University has been awarded the National Education Excellence Award, ‘Best Private University in Northern India 2017’, alongside ‘CSR Excellence in Education’ for 2 consecutive years. School of Law, Ansal University was recognized as the Emerging Law School of the Year in 2018. It secured the 1st Rank as the Most Promising Law School in 2019 by GHRDC survey.

ABOUT THE LAW LEARNERS

The LAW Learners (TLL) is an organization which is aimed at providing FREE and Advanced Certificate Courses, Competitions, Quizzes, Workshops, Internships, Publications to the people. We have had an outreach of over 55,000+ till date. Our efforts have been appreciated by the Times of India, DNA, Dainik Jagran etc. We have as well been appreciated by the Former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh, Former CJI Justice Dipak Misra, Attorney General of India K.K.Venugopal, Governor of Gujarat, Governor of Goa, Member of Parliament Subramanian Swamy and Vivek Tankha.

ABOUT MOOT

The Covid outbreak has created havoc in the nation.During such times, all Educational institutions have been completely shut, owing to the current situation and the uncertainty still remains. Most of the National and International Moot Court Competitions that were supposed to be organized during this period, have been cancelled or postponed. We have thus set up the stage for the 1st National Online Moot Court Competition by The LAW Learners in collaboration with Ansal University, Gurugram.On behalf of Ansal University and The LAW Learners, we welcome you all to participate in the 1st National Online Moot Court Competition 2020. We assure you that it would be an interesting journey, and each of you will gain from it.

MOOT PROBLEM

 The Moot proposition of this edition’s Competition is particularly focused on the Indian Constitutional law. It revolves around a nation which witnessed numerous protests over a pending bill in the Parliament, which later became an Act. The aim is to bring out the best in each of the students and augment their research, writing and speaking skills.CHIEF GUEST INAUGURAL ADDRESS BY – JUSTICE A.K.   • A team may consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 Members.
  • A maximum of 3 Teams are allowed from a Single College.
  • Inter College students may as well form a team and participate.
