ABOUT THE ORGANISATIONS
NIPO The Indian IPR Foundation (NIPO) is the first and oldest IPR Techno-Legal NGO in India. It is one of the few organisations in the world, to have been awarded Permanent Observer Status by the World Intellectual Property Organisation, United Nations. It is an umbrella initiative destined to put India on the map of intellectual superpowers. NIPO’s mandate includes inter alia helping & assisting individuals & organizations in capacity building through interactions with other organizations in India and abroad which are active in this field.

ABOUT THE EVENT (CONFERENCE)
NIPO and KPMG are jointly conducting a study on inventor remuneration in India and as a part of this initiate are holding round tables, surveys and interviews with stakeholders including Government, corporates, academia and research institutes across sectors to understand their perspective around creating a standard policy for inventor remuneration in India and how it may benefit the Indian innovation eco-system thereby generating higher GDP for the nation.
Drawing from their vast practical experience, the panellists, representing various sectors, will discuss the current state of domestic patent filing in India and inventor remuneration provisions as a means to improve the same.
