About the Organisers
Co-operative School of Law, Idukki, established in 2013, and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, is one of the emerging centres of academic excellence in the country. The students of the institution are consistently bagging all the top ranks in the University since its inception.
MKMS Education is an Indian incorporated company with interests in online education and publication and has been associated with several ASEAN projects on law.
About the Event
Settle 2021 is a virtual international mediation promotion campaign spanning over 30 days comprising of 4 international panel discussions, and workshops for students and lawyers. Panel discussion and other events would involve active participation from Justice AK Sikri, Ban Jiun Ean, Executive Director, Singapore Mediation Centre, Prof. Paula Marie Young, Dr Maryam Salehijam, Former observer, UNCITRAL Working Group II, Mr. Sriram Panchu, Senior Advocate and Mediator, Laila Ollapally, Founder & Lead Mediator, CAMP, Dr Aman Hingorani, Supreme Court Advocate-on-Record and Iram Majid, Arbitrator and mediator. It specifically aims to generate wider interest in, and acceptance of, mediation as a dispute resolution tool in Kerala.
Eligibility
Panel Discussion is open for both law students and professionals.
Separate workshops are being organised for law students and professionals. Cross registration will not be accepted.

- Panel discussions on mediation will be held on 5th, 12th, 19th and 27th of March 2021
- Workshop for students – 6 and 7 March, 2021
- Workshop for Lawyers – 13 and 14 March, 2021
