Alfanar is currently developing one of the biggest multi-utility Projects in Saudi Arabia. Alfanar intends to recruit a Contract Specialist who is a qualified lawyer having experience in infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

The Candidate will primarily be responsible for structuring, negotiating, and documenting financing documents related to the above project.  This is a diverse role that will include:

  • Be responsible for all legal matters related to debt, general lending, and borrowing, various types of security creation, finance involving bonds, debentures etc.
  • Be responsible for drafting, reviewing, finalizing documents related to financing, project finance, and re-financing
  • Due diligence review and preparing issues memos about the risks in project documents (such as construction contracts, equipment supplies agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, and offtake agreements)
  • Appoint and coordinate with borrower/lender legal counsels
  • Set up process and procedures for finance documentation
  • Liaison with lawyers of banks and financial institutions for deal closure and disbursements
  • Be responsible to ensure the proper documentation of all finance documentation
  • Single-point of responsibility for any finance related query from lenders/investors
  •  Be responsible for the securitization process

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Advise the leadership team on various business issues including business of the Company, intellectual property, privacy, content regulation, consumer protection, antitrust/competition laws, litigation, employment, advertising laws and regulations, as well as law enforcement and other related issues
