About Workshop on basics of PIL Drafting
This PIL Drafting Workshop by Kanooniyat aims to enlighten law students and professionals alike, about the process of drafting and filing PILs. The workshop will elaborate upon the stages of PIL drafting and filing. The speaker for this session will be Advocate Madhurima Ghosh,.
Advocate Madhurima Ghosh has been working at the High Court of Judicature, New Delhi with close to a decade worth of experience. As a professional, she is well versed with the arbitration, legal writing, legal assistance, corporate law and civil litigation.
The following topics will be covered in the workshop:
- Format and drafting of a PIL
- Intricacies of filing a PIL
(Any questions asked before or during the session shall also be taken up)
Only 50 seats are being reserved for the workshop to ensure greater feasibility of doubt clearing and ease of learning.

- Students (UG/ PG/ Certifications/ Diploma) from any stream from any University/ College/ Institute in India.
- Working law professionals.
- Other public spirited individuals keen to educate themselves on the topic.

Registration Procedure:
- Participants are required to register for the PIL Drafting Workshop by paying the registration fee. (Link mentioned below) (Note: Free for participants who have registered for the Kanooniyat PIL Drafting Competition, 2021)
- Once the registration fee is paid, participants have to take a screenshot of the same and fill the registration form. (Link mentioned below)
- After they fill the registration form, participants will receive an email acknowledging the same from our end. The registration shall be complete after this step.
- The link of the meeting shall then be sent to your email id and WhatsApp.

- The participants are required to register for Kanooniyat’s PIL Drafting Workshop by paying the registration fee of Rs. 100, through the payment link provided, before the registration deadline, i.e., 20th September, 2021, 12 PM.
