Centre for Advanced Study in International Humanitarian Law (CASH), RGNUL aims to promote the development of International Humanitarian Law by analyzing and addressing the most pressing issues. CASH in collaboration with United Nations 75 (UN75) will be hosting online dialogue about the future that you want to see for our world.
What Is A UN75 Dialogue?
The UN is marking its 75th anniversary at a time of great disruption for the world, compounded by an unprecedented global health crisis with severe economic and social -impacts. Our collective response to Covid-19 will determine how fast the world recovers, whether we achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, and how well we handle pressing challenges: from the climate crisis to pandemics, inequalities, new forms of violence, and rapid changes in technology and in our population.
Why Take Part?
It is vital that peoples’ voices are heard at this crucial time for the world. Collectively, the dialogues represent the largest-ever exercise in gathering public opinion and crowd sourcing solutions to global challenges. Your views and ideas will be featured on an online platform and presented to world leaders at the official commemoration of the 75th anniversary in September 2020. After September, the dialogues will shift from gathering views to discussing how best to take forward the priorities and proposals generated.
2020 must be a year when we all come together, as a global family, to discuss how we can work together more effectively to manage these issues. Join the UN75 conversation and help us build a better future.
Who can participate?
Anyone. We want to hear from all communities, to engage youth and those whose voices are often not heard in global discussions, such as indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and migrants and displaced people.
