About the Research Assistantship Opportunity
The opportunity is a research based position with the Supreme Court Committee on Prison Reforms formed by justice Madan Lokur and headed by Justice Amitava Roy.
The TOR is quiet extensive. Primarily the Committee is looking into reforms in the area of women prisoners and their children, problem of overcrowding in prisons, rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders, issues of staff and the juvenile justice system.
