About NUJS
The National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata is an academic community committed to the pursuit of knowledge, wisdom, discovery, and creativity. The founding statute of the University, The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences Act 1999 (Act IX of 1999), states that the objects of the University shall be “to advance and disseminate learning and knowledge of law and legal processes and their role in national development, to develop in the student and research scholar a sense of responsibility to serve society in the field of law by developing skills in regard to advocacy, legal service, legislation, law reforms”. In addition, the statute enjoins the University “to make law and legal processes efficient instruments of social development” and “to promote inter-disciplinary study of law.”
About the Course
The Centre for Financial and Regulatory Governance Studies, WBNUJS hereby announces enrolment to be open for the 3-Month Online Certificate Course on Business and Commercial Laws.
Applications are now being accepted on a ROLLING BASIS.
The next batches for the course will commence from September 15, 2022.
The Course will have start dates thrice a year – January 15th and May 15th, and September 15th respectively.
Dedicated reading material will be provided in soft copy, together with online contact classes on every weekend.
Eligibility
Any practicing lawyer, company secretary, chartered accountant or other related professional, graduate or students in the final year of their undergraduate programme may apply for the course.
Fees
Fees: INR 10,000/-(Students from underprivileged backgrounds requiring financial assistance may apply for reduction in fees payable and the applications would be scrutinized and may be entertained on a case-to-case basis).
Application Process
Applications received till September 10, 2022 will be considered for the batch starting from September 15, 2022. Applications received after that will be considered for subsequent batches.
