Asav Attorneys & Advisors LLP (AAA) is a full-service law firm with its offices in New Delhi and Mumbai & associate office in Hong Kong. The firm specializes in Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax, G.S.T., Corporate Criminal & Tax Investigations (DRI, DGGSTI, SIIB, CIU), Anti-Dumping, Safeguards, Subsidy and Countervailing Laws and Prevention of Money Laundering issues. The Firm also handles IPR, BIS, FSSAI Issues at the time Import and Exports in India.
Besides the above, the Firm provides all the legal support related to IPR Violations, Mis-handled and Missing Cargoes in Indian Ports. It works in close coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies to ensure that Cargoes are restored to the Lawful Owners. The firm, brings more than two decades of experience in handling Litigation, Advisory & Consultancy matters pertaining to Foreign Trade Policies, Customs, WTO Trade Remedies including Anti-Dumping, Safeguards, & GST. The firm is headed by Mr. K.P. Singh, IRS, Former Commissioner of Customs, Central Excise, is a qualified lawyer and specializes in Indirect Taxes, in particular Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax, Narcotics, including Money Laundering, Economic Offences, G.S.T., and SCOMET matters.
He has an experience of over 25 years in the field of Indirect Tax including over 23 years of experience with the Indian Customs, Central Excise, and Service Tax Department as a class 1 officer, where he held several important positions. We provide tailor-made services in the Customs and Foreign Trade domain from registration/ licensing to import / export clearance and compliance. We also provide hand-holding support for our partners venturing into trade expansion in different jurisdictions, and importers/exporters who wish to expand their business. Our objective is to support our partners/ clients in preventive litigation practices by developing Tax planning (SOP), which are cost-effective and promote business efficacy.
About the Internship
ASAV Attorneys & Advisors LLP is hiring interns for the month of May and June 2022.
Eligibility
having previous experience in drafting and preferably having sound knowledge of tax laws
