About the Webinar by DiploTics
This talk will offer practical insight on the current international refugee crisis. It will examine whether the current international asylum and refugee law framework is suitable to meet the needs of human beings fleeing their home states due to humanitarian disasters. It will focus in particular on vulnerable asylum seekers, such as the victims of torture and human trafficking. It will demonstrate the challenges asylum seekers face in meeting the requirements of the current legal framework, especially when it comes to evidentiary issues.
