About Virtual Law School

Virtual learning is the newest and most popular form of education today. Within the past decade it has had a major impact on postsecondary education and the trend is only increasing. There is a shift away from top-down lecturing and passive students to a more interactive, collaborative approach in which students and instructor co-create the learning process. The Instructor’s role is changing from the “sage on the stage” to “the guide on the side.” We invite you to join VLS for various reasons like: It offers more flexibility over a traditional classroom learning, we deliver instruction to a geographically dispersed audience at one time, both the instructors and learners will have rich experience of collaborating with other learners and instructors from around the world & also it provides informal atmosphere of learning from the best legal minds for more creative interaction.

About Essay Writing Competition

VLS launched National Essay Competition on Constitutional Law on November 26, 2021 on the 72nd Constitution Day. This competition is planned to be conducted twice a year. We aspire to make this as one of the leading national essay competitions on competition law in Indian legal academia.

Essays are an integral part of learning and expressing the thought process in an analytical way. Essays on legal issues enable a researcher to indulge in detailed reading on a subject matter, think through the narratives of distinct scholars on the subject line and sort information, various ideas to analyse and produce a critical analysis. Essay writing is one of the core skills that shapes legal writing, enriches research aptitude, compels a person to think and articulate in a stipulated word limit and evolves a thought process of a researcher.  Developing this skill enhances an ability to coherently structure the arguments, channelise information and present it in a lucid manner for the readers.
