About South Asia Students For Liberty
Students For Liberty is a rapidly growing network of pro-liberty students from all over the world. We are the largest libertarian student organization in the world.
We are thoroughly trained and professional. Through increasing awareness of our emotions, we are able to manage and control them, leading to improved interpersonal relationships and empathetic communication with people with other viewpoints. We have a high level of understanding of the ideas of liberty and can clearly and effectively explain the economic and philosophical rationale for the issues we stand for.
Rising above partisan politics, we engage in open and civil discourse over how to best promote freedom in all aspects of our lives. We respect that everyone comes to their justification for liberty in their own way and we are supportive of them in that journey.
Liberty creates a better world and our message surrounding the ideas are welcoming, positive, and inspiring.
About the event
South Asia Students For Liberty is organizing an Expert Class on Objectivism and Digital Currencies with Dr Raymond C. Niles, a senior fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research, as our Expert from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM NYT.
Want to dive into the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain? Look no further because our Expert will hold a class on both topics on 15th and 16th of December.

About the Speaker
Dr Niles holds a Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University and an MBA in Finance & Economics from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. Prior to embarking on his academic career, Dr Niles worked for more than fifteen years on Wall Street as a senior equity research analyst at Goldman Sachs, Schroders, and Citigroup, and as a managing partner of a hedge fund investing in energy securities. In addition to numerous articles in scholarly and popular publications, Niles has contributed book chapters to The Morality of Finance, and the recently published book, Coronavirus and Economic Crisis, edited by Peter G. Earle, and published by the American Institute for Economic Research.
What is the Expert Class?
The Expert Class is a discussion forum that allows an open exchange of ideas between the Speaker and participants. The forum hosts a Speaker who is an expert at the topic of the discussion, and who also moderates the event in a ‘classroom’ format – one may ask questions to the Speaker in the midst of the session, seek clarifications to satiate the curious mind, and even think of further ‘submissions’ on the topic!
Why the Expert Class?
The integral component of the forum is its purpose: to allow a free-flowing discussion between the speaker and ‘students’ and seek answers to the difficult and unthought-of questions.
